“Parenting doesn’t end when the sun goes down.” These are the words of a Social influencer and a mom-of-three Melanie Darnell.
Melanie
gained her following by sharing her experiences of how to be a great
mom and stay fit at the same time. Currently, she has over 87k followers
on Instagram and lately the number has been rapidly growing because of
one video she shared that close to every parent was able to relate.
After
10 months of waking up tired, Melanie decided to do an experiment. She
duct taped a camera to the ceiling above her bed and filmed her night.
The
video reveals the reality of parenting – you are never done parenting
and if the baby needs you, you don’t have a choice but to get up and
attend your child.
Many people loved the honesty of the video and
the message that Melanie shared. “My hope was moms around the world
could take comfort in knowing at the very same middle-of-the-night
moment each of us is cradling our babies in the dark of our homes,
together in this shared experience of motherhood.”
